At the beginning of December, I posted the cover to The Death of Integrity. The art, by Jon Sullivan, turned out to be only a placeholder. I was surprised, as I thought it grand. But then I saw the actual artwork. Oh boy. Here it is.

Chapter Master Caedis of the Blood Drinkers chopping up genestealers in this picture by Jon Sullivan. Note the classic colour scheme for the ‘stealers. My favourite touch is the light around Caedis’ sword. When drawn, the weapon displays past victories as holograms around the blade, and Jon has hinted at that brilliantly.

This is one of the best Warhammer 40,000 covers I’ve ever seen. BL have been spoiling me with book art, and this is another magnificent treat.

By the Emperor! That is Fethin awesome! Props once more to Mr Sullivan.

But wait..is that a red cross I see? Has Caedis succumbed to the Black Rage? Signs from your short story ‘The Rite of Holos’ would seem ever more pertinent if so.

Death Company Terminators, hell yeah; I’ll have me some of that. A White Dwarf rules update for the Blood Drinkers if you’d be so kind *pleading eyes turn towards Nottingham*.

Love the hologram idea for the sword and the classic ‘Stealers, my favourite colour scheme for them.

It’s not even out yet, but the Death of Integrity is the gift that keeps on giving; cheers Mr H. :)

A sword that projects holograms?? That is an awesome idea! :)

Absolutely dying to read The Death of Integrity. Space Marine vampires teaming up with monodominant crusader Space Marines to cleanse a Space Hulk of Genestealers?? What the hell is not to love about that. :D
